There are wide range of tips available for supra and subgingival calculus removal with the possibility of water heating for patient comfort. Unlike the EMS you can add hydrogen peroxide or chlorhexidine to the external water supply for pocket irrigation.
The air-polisher has a small caliber nozzle that allows more specific and concentrated plaque biofilm removal without creating clouds of aerosol like the EMS and being gentle at the same time.
Supra and subgingival powder doesn't cost fortune unlike their competition and although very rare should the handpiece get blocked, you can dismantle and clean it yourself without the hassle of sending it back!
I recommend woodpecker without any hesitation. It is the most reliable piezo on the market and it is easy to maintain.
